Constables receive awards 

Guntur: Constables K Peter Raju and D Veeranjaneyulu received awards from Director General of Police Malakondaiah for for saving the life of a youth.

According to police, two constables while they were on night duty on April 20 in Narasaraopet they noticed a 22-year-old youth on the railway track trying to commit suicide.

The constables prevented him from committing suicide and he was taken to the police station where the officials conducted counselling. For their impressive public service, the DGP gave public service awards.
