Isolated rain forecast for State

Hyderabad: The upper air trough runs from south Odisha to north coastal Karnataka across Chhattisgarh, Telangana and north interior Karnataka. The trough from the Gangetic West Bengal to north coastal Andhra Pradesh has become less marked.

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in the State from June 14 to 17. No large change during the period June 18-20 is the weather outlook. While Nellore recorded the highest day temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, Ongole, Jangamaheswarapuram and Kavali each recorded 39 degrees C.
