Teachers told to make learning pleasant

Vijayawada: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao gave a series of instructions to the education department officials and the heads of schools across the state on Wednesday. He informed the heads of the schools to discuss the problems of their respective schools with the district educational officer and DPO to pursue the issues. 

He warned of stern action if they show slackness in performing their duties. He instructed the transport authority to seize school buses plying without permission. He informed the teachers to create a conducive atmosphere on the school premises to make learning interesting. 

He warned of stern action on private schools for not maintaining proper infrastructure and permission from the department. The minister ordered the DEOs to take stern action against private and corporate schools for collecting high fees from the students.
