Unauthorized Bt Cotton Seeds worth 1.36 Lakh Seized in Guntur

Guntur: Agriculture department officials raided the shop of Karthikeya Seeds at Rentachintala on Wednesday and seized 184 unauthorized Bt Cotton seeds packets worth Rs1,36,160.

The agriculture department officials informed that the trader has no valid permit to keep the stocks of Bt Cotton seeds. 

They informed that they seized Leader-999 and Royal-569 seed packets. They booked a case against the trader for keeping the stocks without valid permit.
