3 thieves held by Guntur urban police, 11 lakh property recovered

Guntur: Guntur urban police arrested three notorious thieves and recovered 250 grams of gold and three motor bikes from them on Thursday. The market value of seized property is Rs 11 lakh.

According to Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao, accused Sivudu alias Mudusu, Shaik Guljar aka Munna and Penuvarti Sarat Kumar residing in Guntur city. They were involved in  several bike thefts.

They steal the trolley bags of passengers in the railway station and RTC bus stand. While they were moving under suspicious circumstances at Ramireddy Thota in Guntur city, police took them into custody for questioning. During the questioning, they confessed to the crime. They recovered 250 grams of gold and three motor bikes.
