AP Govt released 5 Crore to decorate mosques: Hidayat

Guntur: Andhra Pradesh State Minority Finance Corporation Limited chairman Md Hidyat urged the Muslims to celebrate Ramzan festival with pleasure.

Addressing a press meet here on Friday, he said that he had visited Eidgahs and reviewed arrangements for Namaz in Guntur city. 

He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would participate in Eid Navaz programme to be held in the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium in Vijayawada city at 8.30 am on Saturday. 

He informed that the state government released Rs 5 crore for decorating Masjids on this occasion. 

He urged the traffic police and district officials not to create inconvenience to those who come to take part in Eid Namaz.
