Be aware of rights, Andhra Bank customers told
Tirupati: Andhra Bank on Thursday conducted a city-level customer awareness meeting on the rights of bank customers. Andhra Bank Circle General Manager KSD Sivavaraprasad Rao said that it is rather imperative on the part of the customers to be aware of their rights as bank account holders to avail the services being extended by the bank.
He stressed on the bank officials and staff to focus on creating awareness among the customers on the digital transactions which is increasing to help the customers to get prompt remedy in case of any problem they face in the transaction.
Andhra Bank Zonal Manager (Tirupati) V Muralikrishna Rao said that the meeting was organised for the customers and beneficiaries of various schemes including Mudra, Stand up India, MSME of the banks in the pilgrim city.
On the occasion, a clearance certificate was issued to Geetha, wife of a house loan beneficiary, who died and his due amount of Rs 6.9 lakh loan was recovered from ‘Liability Insurance’ scheme by the bank. Officials and staff of the bank local branches were present.
