Free Medical Camp for Transport Workers

Kakinada:  As per the call given by All India Transport Federation, the CITU East Godavari unit organised a free medical camp for transport workers at Sundarayya Bhavan in Kakinada on Friday.

Medical teams from Hope Hospital and Surya Karan Eye and Health Care Centre conducted medical examinations at the camp. 

Ophthalmologist M Suryanararayana conducted eye tests and prescribed medicines and eye glasses to the needy. 

CITU leaders D Seshu Babji, G Babyrani and P Veerababu supervised the arrangements and assured to conduct such camps at frequent intervals.

More than 120 transport employees attended the camp.
