Kurnool softball teams felicitated

Kurnool: District softball teams (men and women) participating in the softball tournament in Nellore were felicitated at a programme in outdoor stadium here on Thursday.

Kurnool teams would be taking part in the 5th state-level seniors’ softball championship in Nellore from Friday. The three-day tourney would be held from June 15 to 17. Sheeba Rajendra, founder of Holy Nation organisation, has participated as a chief guest and distributed dresses to the players (men and women).

Wishing good luck to the players, she advised them to play the game in a fair manner and win the hearts of the viewers. She stated Kurnool is emerging as hub for sports. District Softball Organisation Secretary Gangadhar, CSI Church pastor Rajendra Prasad, Physical Education Teachers (PETs) Kalyani, Madhavi Lakshmi, Shantha Raj, Pullaiah, Nagesh, Shyam and others participated.
