Vignan’s Institute of Engineering for Women students donate blood

Visakhapatnam: Students of Vignan’s Institute of Engineering for Women participated in  blood donation camp conducted in association with Sanjeevani Blood Bank to mark the World Blood Donor Day on the college premises at Kurmanpalem here on Thursday. 

The blood donation camp was successfully completed with the participation of NSS volunteers and Junior Chamber International (JCI) of Waltair division staff.

Speaking on the occasion, principal A Sesha Rao said that students are coming forward to donate blood and they are capable of motivating others in society towards blood donation.

Member of JCI and college dean Dr PS Ravindra said that donation of blood will helps and saves millions of lives every year, it can help patients suffering from life threatening conditions live longer.
