Chandrababu Naidu offers Chadar to Ajmer Dargah

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu offered a 60-metre long Chadar to the famous Ajmer dargah in Rajasthan on behalf of the State government.

He gave the Chadar to Wakf Board chairman and MLA Jaleel Khan at his residence at Undavalli on Friday. About 150 Muslim minority youth from Vijayawada who are going to Ajmer dargah met the Chief Minister at his residence on the eve of Ramzan.  

All of them will start their journey to Ajmer on Saturday morning from Vijayawada.  They are going to Ajmer by two special bogies of a train from the city, explained Jaleel Khan. For the first time in the history of AP, the Muslim minorities are going to offer Chadar at Ajmer Dargah.

The youth said that they would offer prayers to the God to bless Chandrababu Naidu with good health and bless him to continue the ongoing developmental and welfare activities. Jaleel Khan further added that they were going to organise a grand road show from Ajmer Railway Station to the dargah.
