Avail technology to flourish, aqua farmers told

Eluru: Aqua farmers who attended for aqua expo in Bhimavaram have been asked to avail modern technology to cut costs and increase production.

MP Gokaraju Gangaraju along with MLA P Ramanjaneyulu and MLC A Rammohan attended at the inaugural of expo which began on Saturday.

Addressing the farmers, the MP informed that both State and Central governments have been working to benefit the aqua sector. He urged the farmers to depend on technology to reap benefits. 

The farmers should balance the produce and demand to get maximum profits. They should share their thoughts with other farmers to get more benefits. 

Apart from other farmers, they also understand the tips provided by officials and scientists from time to time to ensure profits.

He also insisted on team work to achieve success in aqua field. Though some adversities faced by the aqua sector in the recent past, the farmers managed to overcome the crisis successfully. 

The Centre was keen to address the problems of aqua farmers and ready to do whatever necessary for their progress, he added.
