The Hans India Organising Blood Donation Camp Today

Visakhapatnam: As a part of its social responsibility, The Hans India, HMTV and Kapil Group have jointly organising a mega blood donation camp on Sunday. 

In association with Indian Red Cross Society and Kala Hospitals Private Limited, The Hans India taken up the initiative.

The Hans India already conducted blood donation camps in Telangana state and honoured by the Telangana State. Under the slogan ‘Donate Blood – Save Lives’, The Hans India conducting the camps at various cities across the state on Sunday.

Due to the severe shortage of blood reserves, the blood banks have been facing tough times to supply blood to the emergency patients. At an average every two seconds, one patient needs blood.

In Visakhapatnam, according to the medical and health department, a total of 1.65 lakh units of blood are required. However, the five major blood banks are able to collect 90 to one lakh units of blood every year.

In order to supply blood to the needy, The Hans India is conducting the camp from 9 am to 5 pm at Kala Hospitals located at Dwarakanagar near BVK College in the city. People, who wish to donate blood, can contact on 8096967744.
