Need for conducting more blood donation camps stressed

Kurnool: Young industrialist, TG Bharat, lauding the novel initiative of The Hans India, HM Television and Kapil Group, has said it is just an awesome idea to organise blood donation camp.

This type of blood camps need to organised extensively across the district, he said after participating as a chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of mega blood donation camp jointly organised by The Hans India, HMTV and Kapil Group in coordination with Indian Red Cross society here on Sunday.

After the inauguration, Bharat addressing the gathering on the  occasion, expressed great concern over the unfortunate deaths that are occurring due to non-availability of blood. Several deaths are occurring in road accidents due to untimely supply of blood, he said and stressed on the need for blood donation which saves precious lives. 

Every drop of blood counts here as that gives life to another. He said every person can donate blood once in every three months. Donating blood does not show any adverse impact, instead it will rejuvenate the human body.

He called upon the youths to organise such kind of camps by getting inspiration from the mega blood donation camp being organised by The Hans India. Around 40 units of blood were secured through the donation camp.

Kapil Group Executive Director, Sampath Kumar, staff, Yugandar, Indian Red Cross Society member, Srinivasulu and others spoke on the occasion.
