Teach moral, ethical values to students: Lakshminarayana
Visakhapatnam: Former CBI officer V V Lakshminarayana said that it is high time for nationalisation of the education system. Only with uniform education system in the country, healthy and good society could be built up, Lakshminarayana opined.
Lakshminarayana was the chief guest at the inaugural function of a new building at Vasantha Bala Vidyodaya School, on Sunday. The building was constructed by the alumni of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Indians are known for conducting research to identify the origins of our culture and tradition. He said unless education rich in moral and ethical values is imparted to students, a strong and healthy India cannot be built.
Appreciating the alumni of Vidyodaya School, Lakshminarayana called upon them to continue their association with the school and meet their teachers periodically to set up a good tradition for the younger generations to follow. Talking on other issues, he said that he was concentrating and studying the three major sectors education, farming, and water for irrigation.
“During my recent visit to Anakapalle sugar factory, I found that, if the government spent Rs 30 crore the sugar factory will get golden days again. I am trying to bring the issue to the notice of the State government,” Lakshminarayana said.
