YSRCP MLAs ignoring their constituencies
Amaravati: IT and Panchayat Raj minister Nara Lokesh alleged that the YSRCP MLAs were not taking enough care of their respective constituencies but promptly taking salaries and perks.
Reacting to allegations of YSRCP MLAs that the state government was showing discrimination on the constituencies of Opposition party MLAs and not releasing funds for development works, Lokesh released a ‘fact sheet’ giving details on status of release of funds from Panchayat Raj department to 44 Assembly constituencies being represented by YSRCP MLAs.
Taking the Opposition MLAs on twitter on Sunday, Lokesh said people voted for YSRCP MLAs in good faith but they did nothing for electorate in their respective constituencies. He said, “They never came to Assembly, never asked for development works, but promptly took their salaries and perks as MLAs.”
Stating development of state is the only agenda for TDP, Lokesh said the government did not want people to suffer and took initiatives without being asked by YSRCP MLAs. “Despite Opposition MLAs not caring of their constituencies, our government took initiatives without being asked,” he said and appealed to people to vote for efficient person in the elections.
