Kanaka Durga temple to renovate CCTV network
Vijayawada: Durga temple Trust Board has decided to renovate the CCTV network at a cost of Rs 27 lakh in the temple. In the Trust Board meeting presided over by its chairman Y Gaurangababu on Monday discussed over the functioning of CCTV cameras. Of the total 76 CC cameras in the temple, five are not working. The Trust Board also decided to develop greenery and built a park atop Indrakeeladri hill.
Later, interacting with the media, Gaurangababu said some CC cameras were very old and these will be replaced with new ones. He said new servers will be arranged to store the data and to strengthen the network. He said the Trust Board discussed how the four-year-old girl went missing from the queue line on Sunday. Executive Officer M Padma and Board members attended the meeting.
