TDP leaders made baseless charges against me: Buggana
Kurnool: YSR Congress Party MLA and Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Buggana Rajendranath Reddy strongly reacted to the charges levelled against him by the Telugu Desam Party leaders.
- Says the ruling party has lost people’s confidence
He challenged them to prove the allegations made against him and if they failed to do so, they should submit resignations to their posts. Reddy said he had sent an email to the Privileges Committee to initiate action against Gurajala MLA Yarapatineni Srinivas and Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar for making baseless allegations against him.
Buggana came down heavily on the Telugu Desam Party leaders during a press conference held at the party office here on Tuesday. He said it was not fair on the part of TDP leaders to allege that he had disclosed information pertaining to the State to the BJP leaders.
He said criticising the PAC Chairman was nothing but acting against the Constitution. He asked the TDP leaders not to spread a false campaign that the YSRCP was colluding with the BJP.
He challenged TDP leaders including Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Yerapatineni Srinivas and K Ravindra Kumar to prove the charges against him and added that he was ready to quit his post.
The PAC Chairman said the TDP had lost the confidence of the people of the State and was trying to gain political mileage by making baseless allegations against the YSRCP.
