Andhra University signs MoU with Malaysian varsity
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University is all set to enter into collaborations in the area of research and academic with the international universities, said Prof G Nageswara Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University, here on Tuesday.
Speaking at a function after entering into Memorandum of Understanding with the Lincoln University College of Malaysia, Prof Nageswara Rao said that the university would expand its academic activities to international level.
Prof Nageswara Rao said that the Lincoln University College and Andhra University would take up joint collaborations in the areas of research and academic exchange programmes. He said that the university has given more impetus to foreign languages.
Chief executive officer of Lincoln University College of Malaysia Dr Amiya Bhaumik said that the Lincoln University College has academic collaborations with universities worldwide. He said that Lincoln University College has established with the objective of extending education to all sections in the society.

Prof V Umamaheswara Rao, Registrar, Prof K Niranjan, Dean, Academic Affairs, Prof KB Swamy, Head of Anatomy of Lincoln University College, Dr CL Venkata Rao, Executive Vice-Chairman, Swacha Andhra Mission, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Dr Challa Ramakrishna, Associate Dean, Press and Media and Ramesh Pathi, International Partnerships of Lincoln University College, were present.
