Missing woman handed over to WB police
Guntur: Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao here on Wednesday handed over a woman hailing from Darjeeling to West Bengal police.
According to the police, while a woman moving suspiciously in Guntur city, Arundalpet police questioned her. She informed police officials that she hailed from Darjeeling.
The AL Pet police sent her to Ujwala Home.
Later, the police contacted the locals belonging to Darjeeling. She informed that while she was going to Chennai from Darjeeling, she went missing.
Local police contacted Darjeeling police officials and informed the matter. The Darjeeling police sent a police officer to Guntur.
As soon as she saw Darjeeling police officials, she expressed happiness.
Darjeeling police officials thanked Ch Vijaya Rao.
