Admissions open in SRM Varsity

Vijayawada: SRM University-AP Amaravati announced that the last date for receiving applications for admission into School of Liberal Arts and Basic Sciences (SLABS) is July 15. In all, 240 students will be enrolled in BA, BBA, B Com and B Sc disciplines.

Online applications for admission can be submitted through www.srmap.edu.in, according to Rupesh Bisht, Director Admissions, SRM University. He said that SLABS offers BA, BBA, B Com and B Sc programmes in 12 disciplines in Commerce, Economics, English Studies, History, Journalism, Psychology, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.

He said that six foundation courses will be taught for all the students to help them inculcate a learning mindset and develop a worldview to transform them into industry ready professionals, he said. The provisional admission letter will be sent to the selected students based on performance in Class XII examinations and interviews, he said.
