Man murders parents to get property

Guntur: A man murdered his mother and father to get  property in Morjampadu village under Machavaram  mandal of Guntur district on Thursday. According to police, Pulla Reddy (60) and Purnamma (55) were residing in Morjapadu village.

Their  son Narsi Reddy is an RMP doctor in Addanki in Prakasam district. Pulla Reddy constructed a house four months ago and it led to dispute between father and son. Pulla Reddy had 10 acres of land in the village.

Narsireddy demanded this father to sell the land and give him money. Pulla Reddy made it clear that he would not sell the land as long as he is alive. Both had quarrels over the issue recently. 

Narsi Reddy decided to eliminate his father to get land and hatched a plan. He came to his village Morjamadu to attend a marriage two days ago. He cut the throat of his father and also murdered his mother and absconded.

Soon after receiving information, Sattenapalli DSP Kalesha Vali rushed to spot and made inquiries about the incident. Locals informed the DSP that their son murdered them for property. They expressed ire over deteriorating human values in the society.

Machavaram Police registered the murdered case against Narasi Reddy and took up investigation. Police formed teams to arrest the accused.
