Regular yoga is good for health

Guntur: Pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetham Ganapathi Sachidanda Swamy called upon the people to practise yoga regularly for good health and added that regular yoga practice will increase resistance power in the body. 

Addressing a meeting here on Thursday to mark the International Yoga Day, he said: “If  we take precautions and practise yoga, we may prevent attack of diseases and ill-health”. He reminded that even foreign countries are also giving importance to yoga.

He explained significance of yoga in the human life and those who perform yoga regularly will lead a happy life. He suggested to take millets every day for good health. Later, he blessed the devotees and distributed prasadam. Former Speaker Nadendla Manohar, former Zilla Parishad chairman Pathuri Nagabushanam  were also present.
