Shilparamam to come up in Anantapur
Vijayawada: The Tourism Department is going to construct Shilparamam in Anantapur. Principal Secretary of the department Mukesh Kumar Meena reviewed the plans of Shilparamam with the representatives of Bengaluru-based Civil Tech organisation.
The organisation submitted its plan to the government for the construction of Shilparamam. As per the plan, the Shilparamam would be constructed on Anantapur-Bengaluru highway at an estimated cost of Rs 170 crore in 43 acres of land.
According to estimations, Koreans may visit the Shilparamam in more numbers. Already the Kia Motors works are going on at brisk pace. Large number of Koreans may visit this place after launching of Kia Motors, it is felt.
In this backdrop, the government wants to include Korean culture in the construction. The Korean-based food courts would be set up and their cultural programmes would be exhibited in the Shilparamam.
