Chandrababu Naidu presents silk robes to presiding deity
Guntur: Vedic pandits welcomed Chandrababu Naidu with poornakumbham when he arrived at Dasaravatara Venkateswara temple in the Raintree Park to participate in idol installation. The Chief Minister carried silk clothes on his head and presented them to the Lord and performed special pujas and abhishekams.
Speaking to media, Chandrababu Naidu said that Dasavatara Sri Venkateswara Swamy idol was installed at Sri Venkataramana temple and appreciated Lingamaneni Ramesh and others for taking initiative for constructing the temple and installing the idols. He said it is a unique temple. Later, CM left for his camp office.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan performed special pujas and abhishekams at the temple. Later, Vedic pundits blessed him.
On this occasion, Dattapeethadhipati Ganapati Sachhidananda Swamy said he wanted to construct Dasavatara Venkateswara Swamy temple and his plan was translated into action now. He said that the presiding deity will fulfil wishes of the devotees. Later, he had given teertham to the devotees.
Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao, TTD SVBC channel chairman K.Raghavendra Rao, former speaker of AP Assembly Dr.Nadendla Manohar,Kanaka Durga temple chairman Yalamanchili Gauranga Babu, were among those participated.
