Chandrababu to observe Dharma Deeksha on June 29
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is all set to observe a ‘Dharma Deeksha’ in Kakinada on June 29 as a form of protest against the Centre for failing to accord Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
Chandrababu would begin the Deeksha at 3 pm and address the public, explain how the Centre had deceived the state in the last four years.
The announcement was made by Energy Minister K Kala Venkata Rao at a media conference on Friday after convening the district-level coordination committee meeting of the Telugu Desam Party.
Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Home Minister N Chinna Rajappa and other leaders participated in the meet following which they inspected the JNTUK stadium and Ananda Bharati grounds to finalise the venue for the Deeksha.
