Amaravati: The Minister for Information and Public Relations Kalava Srinivasulu blamed that the BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana influenced the then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy to give undue favours through various subsidies to Ramky Pharma company. He further added that the government exempted Stamp Duty and Registration Fee to the company.

As Lakshminarayana was in Rajasekhar Reddy’s cabinet, he influenced the government in favour of the company, Srinivasulu said.  At a press conference at Undavalli in Guntur on Saturday, the minister  made these allegations as a counter to the charges levelled by Lakshminarayana against Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the state government. He further blamed that both BJP and YSRCP were involving in collusive politics to damage the interests of the state.

The state government has been implementing welfare and development activities efficiently, Srinivasulu claimed. But the leaders of both the parties  were unable to digest these developments, and started baseless criticism against State government, he added.
