Thundershowers likely in State

Hyderabad: In a warning to Andhra Pradesh, the Met department said on Sunday that on June 28 heavy rain is likely at isolated places in all coastal Andhra districts, as the upper air cyclonic circulation over the north-west Bay of Bengal and its neighborhood is persisting.

The department bulletin said the southwest monsoon was weak in Andhra Pradesh. Rain occurred at isolated places in the State, with Mentada, in Vizianagaram district, recording 5 cm of rainfall. 

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few/many places in the coastal districts and Rayalaseema from June 25 to 29. No large change during the period June 29-30 is the weather outlook.
