ATWA can solve the problems of teachers – former JNTU-K, VC Allam Appa Rao
Kakinada: Former vice chancellor of JNTU-K prof. Allam Appa Rao has said that ATA (All Teachers Welfare Association) can solve the problems of teacher at national level.
Addressing the meet organised at JNTU-K Lummi Hall on Saturday night the former said that the ATWA was formed to safe guard the interests of 8 lakh teachers under AICTE purview and 6 lakh under UGC at national level.
Prof.Allam Appa Rao observed that while the public sector teachers are getting salaries promptly, the private sector are struggling to regular wages.
Founder of the union Dr Vamsikrishnam Raju said ATWA was formed to fight on five issues. In this concept they will follow the valuable advice of prof. Allam Appa Rao.
JNTU-K rector prof. K Purnanandam, motional secretary of ATWA Krishna Mohan and others participated.
