Focus on rural infra: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government would focus on creating infrastructure in rural areas in the next six months.

The Chief Minister, during Real-Time Governance review at the Secretariat on Monday, congratulated officials of the state planning department for bagging Skoch Platinum Award for achieving double digit growth in the state.

Stating that the government would complete 1,500 days by Tuesday, the Chief Minister told the officials to work hard by setting targets for the next six months. “We have to focus on creating infrastructure in rural areas in the next six months.

Completion of Open Defecation Free scheme targets, 100 per cent cement roads and ready the vision documents by Sankranti from village level to state level,” he said. Naidu said the credibility among the people over the performance of government increased manifolds.

The Chief Minister directed officials to take steps to control fake accounts on social media platforms and control the netizens who misuse the social media.

Stating that cyber security was the biggest challenge now a days, Naidu suggested that officials as Singapore Minister Eswaran was heading communications ministry, AP should take the cooperation from Singapore in this regard.
