Gali Saraswathi takes oath

Amaravati: Gali Saraswathi, wife of former MLC late Muddukrishnama Naidu, took oath on Monday as MLC at Legislative Council. The Council chairman N Md Farooq administered the oath to Saraswathi at Business Advisory Committee meeting hall in Assembly.

The TDP fielded her as MLC upon the sudden demise of her husband Muddukrishnama Naidu. Speaking on the occasion, Saraswathi said that she would work for the development of society.

She thanked Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for giving her an opportunity as MLC.  MLCs Buddha Venkanna, Dorababu, Tirupati MLA Satya Prabha, industries minister N Amaranatha Reddy and others were present at the oath-taking  ceremony.
