Multi-speciality health camp commences

Vijayawada: About 600 patients visited on Sunday at a five-day-long free Cancer Screening and Super Speciality Health Camp organised by Jain Samaj here. The free medical camp was organised at CV Reddy Charities. The medical camp started at 9 am and lasted till 5 pm. 

All the citizens of Vijayawada can make use of the medical camp, said Jain Samaj member Manoj Kothari. He said that the five-day free medical camp was sponsored by Goldmedal Switches and Mahendra Jewellery. 

He said sugar test, blood pressure, complete blood count test, CA 125 blood test, PSA blood test, mammography, endoscopy, Pap Smear swap collection, X-ray, head and neck examination and breast examination will be done at the medical camp.

He said that reputed doctors from various places of Vijayawada will treat the patients at the free medical camp. 

He said that Dr G Krishna Reddy, Dr V Rama Krishna and Dr S Pratap Kumar Reddy will check cancer patients. A mobile cancer screening centre was also arranged.
