Nadendla Manohar likely to be Pradesh Congress Committee chief

Guntur: Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president and former speaker of combined state of Andhra Pradesh Nadendla Manohar is likely to be appointed as PCC chief soon. According to sources, the Congress high command is in favour of appointing him as PCC chief.

Taking general elections into consideration, Congress high command expected to change PCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy and appoint Nadendla Manohar in his place. Nadendla Manohar is having good contacts with the AICC president Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders in the party.

It may be mentioned here that Nadendla Manohar father Nadendla Bhaskara Rao is worked as Chief Minister for a short period. With Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan already starting Bus Yatra and YSCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy continuing his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the Congress is planning to revamp party by changing its captain for AP.

Speaking to The Hans India, Nadendla Manohar said, “Currently I am working as PCC vice-president and expecting better chances in the party. I am ready to spend more time in the active politics and do hard work for the party to get its past glory.”
