Galla Aruna being appointed as TDP Politburo member

Amaravati: The TDP disappointed leader and former Minster from Chittoor district, Galla Aruna Kumari was named as Politburo member of the party.

The party informed that she was being appointed in the post by TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in a statement on Tuesday here.

She was representing from Chandragiri Assembly constituency in Chittoor district and her son Galla Jaya dev is present Parliament member from Guntur Lok Sabha.

It is worth to mention here that, after disappointment with the party functioning in her constituency, she quit from the post of Constituency In-Charge recently. Before that, she organized a meeting with the local leaders and in which she reportedly expressed her dissatisfaction by saying that there was no priority for her.

Now the decision of Chandrababu Naidu to appoint her as Politburo member became a great news for Galla’s family, since this is the highest decision making body in the party.

The party leaders from Chittoor also expressed happiness on her appointment.

Chandrababu Naidu was taken this decision as part of strengthening the party in the Chittoor district, on the wake of ensuing elections, sources informed.
