Kanimozhi extends support to C M Ramesh’s fast

Kadapa: The indefinite fast being observed by Rajya Sabha member C M Ramesh and MLC B.Tech Ravi not only receiving good  response from the people in several parts of the state, but also from adjacent Tamil Nadu state.

Former Tamil Nadu chief minister Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi  visited the fasting camp and expressed her solidarity. Speaking the occasion, she said that her party would extend full support to the Andhra Pradesh state in achieving its rights.  

She recalled that CM Ramesh has raised his voice in the Parliament against the Central government of its failure in setting up steel plant in Kadapa district. She said it is high time for all sections of people to extend their support to the Rajya Sabha member by voluntarily joining in the stir.

“I feel happy for visiting the fasting camp by TDP leaders as they are determined to continue the stir despite their deteriorating health condition. I hope the agitation will bring pressure on the Central government and it would announce positive decision in setting up steel plant in Kadapa,” she said.
