Prakasam Engineering College welcomes new batch of students

Kandukur: With a highly motivated and cheerful speech from the invited guests, Prakasam Engineering College at Kandukur welcomed a new batch of students for the academic year 2018-2019, on Monday.

The function began with the customary lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Sadineni Yamini, Director, APSSDC which was followed by Kancharla Ramaiah, secretary & correspondent, Kancharla Srikanth, secretary, Dr M Lakshmana Rao, principal and academic principal, Dr Ravi Kumar.

Addressing the gathering, Kancharla Ramaiah spoke about the confidence the parents had in joining their wards in their college and promised to live up to their expectations. He said PEC’s main motto was to provide value based education and to show an all-round development in a student.

Sadineni Yamini, in her speech shared that desire, devotion, determination, self-confidence, communication skills and time management play an important role in student’s life.  She asked the students to shape themselves in to good entrepreneurs by working on new ideas.

Kancharla Srikanth said that the management and faculty were present 24/7 to facilitate the students. He said that the college had established skill development labs by associating with Siemens, APSSDC etc.

V Hari Babu, vice-principal, Meeravali, academic in-charge, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were also present at the function.
