Be polite with people, new SIs told

Kurnool: Participating in an interaction session with the newly appointed Sub-Inspectors (SIs) at Ved Vyas Auditorium here on Tuesday, Rayalaseema Range DIG G Srinivas has instructed them to maintain good relations with people and resolve their grievances in a friendly manner. He advised the SIs to discharge duties with utmost responsibility and gain thorough understanding in investigating the cases. 

The DIG instructed them to become technical experts in the Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS), FALCON vehicle and various software applications.  Later, addressing the media, Srinivas said 57 trainee SIs have completed training in Rayalaseema Range. 

All the selected candidates were imparted training at police training centre in Anantapur. Around 600 SIs across the state have completed training and all would meet Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday, the DIG stated. He further mentioned that newly appointed SIs would be under training for one week at police training centre in Kurnool. 

SP (Administration) P Shaiksha Vali, Additional SP (Armed Reserve) I Venkatesh, DSPs J Babu Prasad, Nazimuddin, Khadar Basha, CM Gangaiah, Ramesh Reddy, CI Lakshmikanth Reddy, RI Shiva Reddy and other police officials were present.
