Deeksha to be held on a grand note: MLA V Venkateswara Rao

Kakinada: MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao has said that the Dharma Porata Deeksha in Kakinada on Saturday will be conducted on a grand note.

Addressing the party cadre at TDP office here on Tuesday, he said that TDP was not only fighting for special status for AP, but even acting as an opposition party in highlighting the problems of people.

The MLA said that they had to do the duties of opposition also, as the principal opposition elders simply conducting padayatras ignoring the welfare of the people in the state.

The MLA said that more than one lakh people would participate in the Deeksha.  Deekshna will be conducted at JNTU-K sports grounds in Kakinada, Venkateswara Rao added.
