Spl security measures along sea coast

Kakinada: Special security measures will be taken up with police, revenue, panchayat raj and fisheries officials along sea coast from Uppada to Kakinada, said Kakinada RDO and Sub-divisional Magistrate  L Raghu Babu.

Reviewing the sea coast security at RDO office here on Tuesday,  Raghu Babu perceived that this measure was necessitated in view of increase  in number of visitors to beach and the recent deaths due to drowning in sea at Uppada, Vakalapudi, Suryaraopeta in Kakinada revenue division.

In this connection, the RDO urged the Panchayat Raj authorities of respective Panahayats to display warning boards in places of danger.

In addition to this, the RDO ordered the police to beef up security along NTR Beach to check the menace of consumption of liquor and disturbing peace in the vicinity.

Kakinada sub-division police Officer M Venkateswara Rao,  Fisheries  AD  Srinivas, MROs, Panchayat  Raj officials participated in the meeting.
