Viswabrahmins thank Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao
Vijayawada: Viswabrahmin community leaders of Vijayawada extended their gratitude to Water Resource Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao for his efforts in allocating land for the construction of Sanari Vignana Mandapam and Veerabrahmendra Swamy Temple here on Wednesday.
During Krishna Pushkaralu, both Sanari Vignana Mandapam and Veerabrahmendra Swamy temple were demolished.
At that time MP Kesineni Srinivas and MLA Gadde Rammohana Rao promised the community leaders that land and funds would be allocated for the construction of temple.
After two years, with the initiative taken by Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and on the request of the community leaders, the government allocated land for Sanara Vignana Mandapam and Veerabrahmendra Swamy temple.
Viswabrahmana community leaders extended their gratitude to the Minister Unamaheswara Rao, MP Kesineni Srinivas and MLAs Gadde Rammohana Rao and Bonda Umamaheswara Rao for their efforts in getting the land sanctioned by the government.
The community leaders also thanked the 19th division corporator Veeramachineni Lalitha Kishore on the occasion.
