Chandranna Bima premium paid

Amaravati: The state government has paid Chandranna Bima Scheme premium amount of Rs 466 crore. Under the scheme, at least 2.49 crore beneficiaries would get benefit this year. In a statement on Thursday, the Chief Minister’s Office informed that the beneficiaries will get benefitted under the premium till May 2019.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that through this scheme, the state government would provide relief to families of unorganised workers in case of death or disability. All the workers in the unorganised sector, including farmers and others, aged between 18 and 69 will get benefitted under the scheme. By bearing the premium burden on the public exchequer, Naidu said the government reduced burden on commonman.
