KGGH outsourcing staff demands salary dues
Kakinada: The outsourcing employees of Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) demanded that the authorities release pending wages of four months with immediate effect.
In a memorandum submitted to KGGH Superintendent Dr M Raghavendra Rao on Thursday, the representatives of outsourcing employees sought release of pending salaries immediately.
Leader of outsourcing employees Palvela Veerababu appealed to the authorities to give sympathetic consideration of the issue and release pending wages immediately.
He said that the outsourcing employees were facing lot of difficulties, especially during reopening of schools to meet the expenditure for education of wards.
When contacted, KGGH Superintendent Dr Raghavendra Rao said that they were not receiving any grant towards salaries to outsourcing employees from government.
Earlier, they were meeting this expenditure from Rajiv Arogya Sri and now from NTR Vida Seva. But the same was not cleared for the last four months by the government, he informed.
“Soon after release of the dues from NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, we will clear the four-month pending salaries for the outsourcing employees,” Dr Raghavendra Rao clarified.
