TDP government committed to BCs welfare: Nara Lokesh

Vijayawada: Panchayat Raj minster Nara Lokesh said that they were fighting  for protecting the rights of people. Addressing a gathering at Gudiwada town after unveiling the statue of Sardar Gouthu Latchanna on Thursday, Lokesh said the people voted for Telugu Desam Party with trust and confidence.

Stating that the government was trying to fulfil the dreams of people, he said the YSRCP was making plans to stall the development of the state and the Centre also did injustice by not releasing funds to the state.He said the state stood in top position in the development and the Panchayat Raj department released Rs 100 crore for drinking water in towns. 

Reiterating that the government was committed to development works, Lokesh said TDP was dedicated for uplifting BCs and poorer sections and recalled that the government introduced various schemes for their welfare. Praising the services of Sardar Gouthu Latchanna, Lokesh said the TDP would strive to achieve aspirations of people.
