Kakinada CPM protests for steel plant in Kadapa

Kakinada:  The CPM East Godavari unit has extended full support to Kadapa bandh as per the call given by party State leadership.

The CPM leaders and activists organised a dharna at District Collectorate here in support of the demand for steel plant at Kadapa.

Addressing the dharna, party district unit secretary K Srinivas criticised the BJP leadership for its failure to clear Kadapa steel plant as per the election promise.

He warned that the Left parties would intensify the agitation if the BJP continues its attitude of dodging the issue.

Later, a memorandum was submitted to district administration.  A large number of party activists and leaders participated in protest.
