Lions Club of Adarsha donates RO plant to girl’s school in Akiveedu

Akiveedu: Lions Club of Adarsha donated a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water plant to Govt Girls High School in Akiveedu on Friday.

At a programme organised , Lions Governor K Kishore Kumar launched the plant. Water is the essential necessity for all human beings. The club was ahead in extending a helping hand to the needy, he said.

He praised Lions Club of Adarsha president Md Sirajuddin for taking the initiative to supply water to students.   

Kumar also verified temporary shed and benches arranged at crematorium at Dumpagadapa village. 

Though Sirajuddin’s tenure was coming to close, his ambition to do some good things was appreciable, he said, adding that all Lions should emulate him to bring change in society.

Kumar announced new governing bodies for Lions clubs. He said Peruri Radhakrishna is new president of Akiveedu Lions Club. While Srinivas is new president of Akiveedu Abhaya Lions Club, K Suseela is new president of Akiveedu Adarsh Lions Club. 

Lions members S Venkanna Babu, G Lakshmana Rao, K Appa Rao, B Manikanta and others were present.
