Pawan Kalyan finds fault with AP govt for allotting excess lands to IT companies
Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan pointed out that the government allocated lands to the IT companies on an excessive scale. Though the lands are allocated to the companies, the local youth are not getting jobs as per the assurances being given by the companies. The government should ensure that the local youth will get employment in the companies established in Visakhapatnam, he demanded.
As a part of his visit in Visakhapatnam, Pawan Kalyan on Friday visited IT Park located at Madhurawada and Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS). Referring to various IT companies established on the hillocks at Rushikonda, Pawan Kalyan said that during the MoU signed with the companies, the government assured one lakh jobs would be provided to the local youth. But hardly 5,000 locals got the jobs. The government should immediately announce the company wise employment given to the locals, he demanded.
After visiting the VIMS, the Jana Sena president alleged that the government has been helping the corporate sector and taking steps to privatise the VIMS. The VIMS should be run by the government as lakhs of people in the north coastal districts depend on the medical facilities in Visakhapatnam. The Jana Sena Party would fight against the government with the demand to run the VIMS as a government institution only, he added.
Some of local leaders joined Jana Sena Party during the visit of Pawan. While welcoming them into the party, he said that Jana Sena is a common man party and have no funds. He told new comers in the party not to expect party tickets in the coming elections and to work to bring the party into the power.
