Somu Veerraju alleges AP CM encouraging attacks on BJP leaders

Rajamahendravaram: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC and party's state election committee convenor Somu Veerraju said attacks on BJP leaders and cadre are increasing in the state with the support of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. BJP cannot be a mere spectator, but will teach a fitting lesson to TDP if it continues its attacks, he warned.

Addressing  a press conference at Rajahmundry Press Club here on Friday, the MLC said TDP gangs attacked on BJP national president Amit Shah in Tirupati and recently party state president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana in Anantapur.  

The Chief Minister, who claims that he is having 40 years experience in politics, does not have dignity, patience etc and brining blot to democracy with his dictatorial attitude, the BJP leader alleges.

The MLC further alleged that  Chief Minister is misusing people's money in the name of deekshas and poratams, ignoring the administration. The IAS officers have become event managers in the state. The Central government sanctioned crores of rupees to state and Chief Minister has been misleading the people saying that Central government is not giving funds, the MLC said.  

TDP MP CM Ramesh should question his boss about the closure of a dairy unit and why water is not released to the canal in Pulivendula, Veerraju said. Director-General of Police Malakondaiah did not give proper reply when questioned about not registering cases against TDP men who are attacking BJP leaders, he claimed. Party leaders B Duttu, GC Babu, R Sridevi and others were present at the press meet.
