Vaidya Ratham flagged off
Vijayawada: CEO of Realtime Governance,Babu A flagged off the Vaidya Ratham at Kshetraiah Kalakshetram here on Saturday which would provide medical service to the rural people.

The mobile medical services bus is sponsored jointly by Tata Trusts and Alamelu Charitable Foundation with the support from Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani). It provides services including first aid, eyesight checkup and test to check diabetes and preliminary checkup for cancer in the rural areas. It may be recalled that the MP had adopted 265 villages with the help of the Tata Trust and undertaken several welfare measures in the villages. The services included construction of personal toilets, nutrition and plants distribution along with tree guards.
The MP told the media that with the help of the Tata Trust, medical services have been provided to 50,000 people in rural areas and the Vaidya Ratham is introduced to enhance the services. “They are contemplating to introduce another Vaidya Ratham soon,” he said. The MP announced that battery-run vehicles would be handed over to the sarpanches of 265 villages to transport the garbage in their villages. “Water filters were already given to the Anganwadi teachers,” he said.
Tata Trust south head Pavitra Kumar, MarkfedChairman Kanchi Rama Rao, Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Deputy Mayor Gogula Ramana Rao, State SC,ST Commission member NallagatlaSudharani, Parliament coordinator LingamaneniSivaramaprasad, Sarpanches Association president Mullangi Ramakrishna Reddy, and other party leaders were present.
