Man hacks daughter to death suspecting love affair

Vijayawada: In what could be described as an honour killing one person brutally murdered his daughter suspecting that she fell in love with someone and was speaking to him over phone regularly in Krishna district on Saturday. 

According to information available, a 24-year-old girl student Tondepu Anuradha was hacked to death by her father Tondepu Kotaiah at Thotaravulapadu village of Chandarlapadu mandal in Krishna district on Saturday. Kotaiah suspected that his daughter was in love and was frequently speaking to someone on phone. 

Enraged over the incident, father had lost temper and killed her with an axe. Full details are awaited. The victims died of severe injuries. The entire village was shocked following the unforeseen incident.  Chandarlapadu police have registered a case and took up investigation. Details are awaited.
