Naidu cheated Dalits again at Dalita Tejam: MCSS

Ongole: Madiga Corporation Sadhana Samiti state convener Kommuri Kanakarao alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu cheated Dalits again in the name of Dalita Tejam. 

He demanded that the government release white paper on the expenditure made on Dalit welfare by the state government in the last four years.

Kanakarao accused Chandrababu Naidu of encouraging the categorisation of the reservation in Dalits to split them by sub-castes and now speaking of their unity and prosperity. 

He sought to know who were Dalits in SCs in the opinion of Chandrababu Naidu and questioned why people from other castes were not representing social welfare ministry, SC Commission, SC Corporation, SC/ST Assembly committee etc. 

He asked Naidu what he did for the categorisation of SC reservations in these four years. He alleged that the state government was neglecting the LIDCAP and not allocating any funds to beneficiaries. 

He demanded that the government release a white paper on the expenditure made for the development of SCs and how much spent for the Madigas in that amount.

He said that Madiga representatives in the TDP were privately confessing that they had no freedom to discuss their issues with Chandrababu Naidu. 

He said that there was no development in the Mala Madiga colonies and even does not have burial grounds. But the TDP government was boasting about their development. 

The TDP government had failed in taking action on officials who were harassing the SC employees, he said, adding that the TDP was claiming Dalita Tejam in its rule.
